200410 Milton Sands Sunset 3

I love the soft appearance of the waves in this photo, but especially like how the shallow smoky wisps of spray appear to rush back and merge into the rougher, and darker sea.

I like how the sky goes from a light pink color in the lower right corner to a dark blue in the opposite. I also like how you can make out, in the background, the almost silhouetted arch against the sky with the headland behind.
What interests me is how the backwash distinctly leaves it's 'trail' around the pebbles on the sand and the foamy appearance of the water that hasn't moved as much.

There's something about images like this that I really like, I'll have to have a go myself!
