My book, The Exotics, is being revised. The new addition will have some new images that follow the theme of the book, but were taken after the first publication. I will be including one of these Emperor scorpion images, but I need help deciding which one.
When I read somebody else's journal, the journal history and poll boxes overlap the journal page covering some of the text. It has only happened the last few days, but it is really annoying. Anybody else find this? Any solutions?
After 9 long years Jenson Button was yesterday crowned the FIA Formula One World Champion.
I just wanted to post a journal to say congratulations. You deserve it, and a fighting drive with lots of overtaking maneuvres is just the job to silence the critics.

I finally got round to editing some more images of the Bournemouth Airshow today. I must say I am REALLY pleased with some of the shots I got, the Royal Navy Black Cats in particular. The Red Arrows are next up on the editing list, followed by the Spitfire and P51 Mustang, and then the Vulcan bomber. Enjoy the images, your feedback is welcomed and valued as always.

Hopefully doing some new portraiture soon, which should be up here, also going to Bournemouth Airshow later this month, fingers crossed for some decent shots of the spitfire.
Danni and I have also inherited a few more exotics over the last few days. I have picked up two new tarantulas, a Velvet Mountain Beauty (Euathlus sp.), which is absolutely gorgeous, and a Mexican Red-leg (Brachypelma emilia). I will hopefully get some pictures of these when they settle in a little. Today, we also adopted a new bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps), it is only around 6 months old, and he is quite a lovely little character (if a little jumpy at the moment) with some lovely markings.
