Description
The prom and some stormy seas along Colwyn Bay Promenade, North Wales, on the 13th August 2010. It wasn't until I got back that I realised the potential catastrophe of standing in crashing waves on the seafront on Friday 13th!
I got a little wet doing these images, but it proved that the waterproofing I have recently purchased for my 7D does the trick.
This image was published in the North Wales Pioneer the following week to which it was taken. Not bad, being selected from a flickr pool of hundreds of images that week, not to mention the images sent directly to the paper. I will put an image of the newspaper up later for anybody that is interested.
